Curl BC Member Facilities are required to report visitor and new recruitment activities annually.
What should be reported?
- Open House events
- Try Curling, Start Curling, or Discover Curling Events
- Learn to Curl or Beginner/Novice programs
- Corporate rentals
- Private rentals (birthday party, family gathering, social events)
- School groups (elementary, secondary, college, and university)
- This includes individual class or school visits (example: field trips)
- This does not include leagues or programs being offered for these groups. If you have an elementary school league, these curlers will be included in your affiliation reports.
- New immigrant groups
- Underrepresented groups
- Tourist groups (organized by a tourist group)
What should be reported?
Submit one report for each visitor or recruitment activity category.
If multiple events occurred within the same category during the season, combine them into a single report and provide the total number of sessions/events and participants.
Examples
Elementary School Groups
- 15 school visits
- 320 participants
Submit as one report.
Corporate Rentals
- 22 rentals
- 180 participants
Submit as one report.
Start Curling / Try Curling
- 6 events
- 125 participants
