Al Kersey, Founder and Administrator of the Optimist Junior Interclub Curling League, was celebrated earlier at the 2025 Brier!

For over 30 years, Al has dedicated himself to growing the game, providing young curlers in Lower Mainland communities with opportunities to develop their skills in a structured, supportive environment. As Al prepares to “retire” from his role, we want to recognize his passion and commitment to youth curling.
