High Performance Coach Development Program Returns

The High Performance Coach Development Program (HP CDP) is returning for the 2026/27 season and will establish Curl BC’s next coach cohort.

Designed to bridge the gap between club coaching and high-performance competition, the program combines curling-specific strategies with multi-sport best practices. Coaches will take part in virtual workshops, mentorship, optional in-person training, and curated learning resources.

The program is open to coaches at all experience levels, from newer coaches to those with elite backgrounds.

To participate, coaches must have completed NCCP Make Ethical Decisions, NCCP Safe Sport Training, and the NCCP Rule of Two Module. Coaches must also be Competition Coach in Training or higher, and be certified or on track to complete certification by March 2027.

Registration runs from July 3 to August 3, 2026. The program fee is $75 plus GST. Optional in-person training costs, if applicable, will be communicated in advance.
