Driftwood Brewery Joins Curl BC as Official Beer Supplier

Curl BC is excited to welcome Driftwood Brewery as the Official Beer Supplier of Curl BC!

Driftwood got its start in 2008 in Victoria and now brews out of Esquimalt, BC. It’s a fitting connection, since Esquimalt—home to the Archie Browning Arena and Esquimalt Curling Club—will also be the site of the 2026 BC Men’s, Women’s, and U20 Championships, running December 29, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

You’ll be seeing more of Driftwood at Curl BC events soon and we are excited to collaborate with Driftwood as the season progresses!

A curler behind the beer

Driftwood partner Gary Lindsay isn’t just a brewer—he’s also an avid curler and curling fan who has given a lot to the sport in BC over the years. He shared why this partnership is so meaningful:

“As a local brewery, we’re proud to continue and expand our support of BC’s curling communities. Driftwood has already been supporting some curling clubs and events across the province, and this partnership with Curl BC elevates our commitment to the sport. Curling has given me so much personally, and this is a way for us to give back in a more direct and meaningful way.”

A partnership for curlers and clubs

Curl BC CEO Scott Braley says this is a big step forward for the curling community:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Driftwood into the Curl BC family. This local partnership will help enhance the curling experience for clubs and curlers across the province. We’re also looking forward to working and talking closely with our member facilities so they can take full advantage of this opportunity—alongside all the other member benefits available.”

We can’t wait to raise a glass—or a can—with Driftwood and celebrate this new partnership with curlers all over BC!
