Curl BC Unveils New Logo Reflecting Provincial Pride and National Alignment
Curl BC is proud to unveil its new logo, a modern visual identity that reflects both our roots in British Columbia and our place within the broader Canadian curling community.
First revealed at our Annual General Meeting on June 11, the new logo represents more than a design update. It signals a continued commitment to growing the game across the province through strong clubs, engaged communities, and alignment with partners across the country.
The design draws directly from the British Columbia flag. The rising sun and flowing waves are reimagined within the logo, representing energy, movement, and our connection to communities across the province. The blue and yellow colour palette reinforces this provincial identity while bringing a bold, clean look to the Curl BC brand.
Within the logo is a shield — a form that reflects both the shape of a curling rock and our focus on the sport itself. The shield and typography also align closely with Curling Canada, reinforcing our shared commitment to a unified and collaborative future for curling in Canada.
“This new logo reflects who we are and where we’re going,” said Scott Braley, CEO of Curl BC. “We’re proud of our history and our clubs across British Columbia, and we’re equally excited to be aligned with Curling Canada and Member Associations from coast to coast as we continue to grow the game together.”
The new branding will begin rolling out immediately across Curl BC’s website, social media channels, events, and communications. Over the coming months, it will also appear at competitions, on materials, and throughout clubs across the province.
Curl BC invites athletes, clubs, volunteers, and fans to embrace and share the new logo as a symbol of the community we continue to build together.
