Curl BC Hosts Hit Draw Tap Provincial Championships
On March 20, at the start of the Mixed Doubles Nationals, Curl BC held the Hit Draw Tap Provincial Championships at the Cloverdale Curling Club.
The Hit Draw Tap is a Curling Canada skills program that encourages young curlers to develop precision and technique. The competition is open to three age groups: 6–7, 8–9, and 10–12. Throughout the season, BC curling clubs ran local Hit Draw Tap events and submitted their athletes’ scores. Each participant had five attempts at each skill: Hit, Draw, and Tap.
The top scorers from each age category were invited to compete at the provincial championships. Curl BC congratulates all finalists and medalists for their excellent performances!
A big thank you to all the volunteers, the Cloverdale Curling Club, and Curling Canada for making this event possible and helping young athletes develop their curling skills.
