A Busy and Exciting Season Ahead
As we move deeper into the curling season, there’s a lot to look forward to across BC.
Behind the scenes, Curl BC and the Hosting Committee are hard at work preparing for the 2026 BC Men’s, Women’s & U20 Championships. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable event, and early bird tickets will be available starting November 15 — stay tuned for special promotions and announcements.
Meanwhile, the BC Curling Tours are in full swing. We wish all BC teams the best as they compete for valuable CTRS points and work toward qualifying for the BC Championships.
This month also brings exciting opportunities for youth curlers. From BC Winter Games zone camps and qualifiers to RockFest events, there are plenty of ways for young athletes to develop their skills and connect with others in the curling community. You’ll find more details in this issue of The Curling Connection.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible work of volunteers across the province. Your dedication powers our sport and helps build the next generation of curlers — thank you for everything you do. Stay tuned for further communications regarding volunteering opportunities this season.
Finally, congratulations to Sonja Gaudet, newly inducted into the Canadian Paralympic Hall of Fame, and to Ina Forrest, honoured in the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame. Both have made extraordinary contributions to curling and to Canadian sport.
