Call for Hosts: U15 RockFest Regional Event 2026–2027
As planning begins for the 2026–2027 curling season, Curling Canada is looking for four host locations across the country for the next series of U15 RockFest Regional Events.
These events will take place between February 1 and April 30, 2027, providing a fun and developmental experience for young curlers to grow their skills and connect with peers from other regions.
Hosting Considerations
Curling Canada will select host centres based on:
- Number of sheets of ice
- Travel accessibility for athletes and parents
- Availability of dates at the curling centre
- Ideal host size: 8 or more sheets of ice (to maximize participation)
- Centres with 6 sheets will also be considered, as well as joint bids between two smaller clubs (e.g., two four-sheet facilities)
Event Support and Requirements
Curling Canada will provide event funding to support host centre costs and ice rental at $600 per sheet, requiring 2.5 days of ice time (Thursday–Saturday, Friday–Sunday, or Saturday–Monday).
Hosts must also provide:
- Space for off-ice classroom sessions
- A local event organizer and volunteer team
- Volunteers to help with the Skills Competition, registration, and icebreaker activities
- High-quality ice conditions for the athletes

Curling centres interested in hosting are invited to submit their expression of interest to Curl BC by Friday, November 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. using the hosting link below:
