2026 BC Club Curling Championships Wrap Up in Vancouver
The 2026 BC Club Curling Championships took place April 1–5, 2026, hosted by the Vancouver Curling Club.
A total of 22 teams representing 11 curling clubs from across the province competed in this year’s event. Staying true to the tradition of the Club Championships, the competition celebrated friendly club rivalries, camaraderie, and close, exciting games—a fitting way to round off the BC Championships season.
Road to Gold
Team Hiram delivered an impressive playoff run on the men’s side. After finishing 5–2 in pool play (4th in Pool B), they defeated higher-ranked teams in every playoff round—overcoming Team Tolley (2nd in Pool A) in the quarterfinal, Team Bilesky (1st in Pool B) in the semifinal, and finally Team Craig (1st in Pool A) to claim the title.
On the women’s side, Team Powell followed a similar path. Despite not topping their pool, they surged in the playoffs—defeating Team Comadina 10–3 in the semifinal before overcoming top-seeded Team Gushulak in the final to secure gold.
