Welcome back to a new season of curling. We hope you had a great summer and are keen to get back on the ice.

During the summer, Curl BC has been busy working behind the scenes to set up the following fundraising opportunities for curling:

• Curl BC’s monthly 50/50 (rafflebox.ca/raffle/curl-bc) will start back up on September 18. With Falkland Curling Club recently rejoining, you can now choose from 89 member facilities or 3 affiliated associations to benefit from your purchase. Even better, encourage your club to request a portable sales unit from Curl BC. There were 12 of these PAX machines being used in clubs last season and they generated $45,000 in sales (25% of all sales). • Curl BC will be collaborating with Kelowna Curling Club and Rafflebox to run the 50/50 for the 2025 Montana’s Brier being held at Prospera Place from February 28 to March 9, 2025. Online sales will begin October 1st with the final day “mega raffle”: (rafflebox.ca/raffle/curl-bc-brier-mar9). We encourage you to buy tickets for the Brier to experience this iconic Canadian Championship first hand and support the 50/50 to have a chance to win big!
• We’ll also be setting up daily 50/50 both online and in venue for the 2025 BC Men’s & Women’s Championships being held at the George Preston Arena in the Township of Langley and hosted by Langley Curling Club. With only 500 seats available, plus box and table seating, make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time to see the best curlers in BC attempting to qualify for the Brier and the Scotties. Ticket details will be announced very soon so stay tuned.
