The curling community is in for a treat with the upcoming Sweepers Cup 2025, a brand new event aimed at bringing excitement back to the sport. Ten curling clubs from nine Vancouver Island cities are joining forces, offering their bonspiels as qualifiers for this special competition.

The Sweepers Cup will conclude with a Cash Spiel at the Duncan Curling Club from March 20-23, 2025. The prize pot, already at $12,400, continues to grow, adding to the anticipation.

To enter, there’s no fee—just the challenge of competing in one of 16 qualifying bonspiels across the island. The top two teams from each of these events, divided between eight Ladies’ and eight Men’s competitions, will earn their spot in the March event.
