High Performance Coach Development Program
The High Performance Coach Development Program (HP CDP) returns this season to establish our 2026/27 coach cohort. Designed to bridge the gap between club coaching and high-performance competition, this program blends curling-specific strategies with multi-sport best practices. Delivered via virtual workshops, mentorship, optional in-person training, and curated resources, it equips coaches with the tools to excel.

Eligibility & Requirements
This program is inclusive of all coaching experience levels, from novice to elite backgrounds.
Prerequisites & Requirements:
- Trained in: NCCP Make Ethical Decisions, NCCP Safe Sport Training, NCCP Rule of Two Module
- Coaching Status: Competition Coach in Training or higher (coaches must be fully certified or on track to complete their certification process by March 2027).
- Eligibility: BC-based coaches only.
Virtual Workshop Details
- Workshops will be scheduled on weeknights (exact days and times to be determined).
- Sessions presented by High Performance Coordinators (HPCs) Kayla MacMillan and Lindsay Dubue, alongside guest speakers (curling professionals and non-sport-specific experts)
Note: Material and activities will be entirely new to ensure returning coaches have valuable opportunities for continuous development.
