Qualicum Curling Centre – Novice Funspiel

Registration is open for our NOVICE FUNSPIEL to celebrate Curling Day in Canada on Saturday, January 31st from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Let’s celebrate this great sport with a fun day of curling! We’re focusing on curlers who have 5 years or less or experience for this fun bonspiel, but teams can have experienced players as well. Here’s how it works:

• Teams of four must have at least two curlers with 5 years or less of curling experience.
• Experienced players are allowed to play and can skip/call the game, but experienced players must shoot lead rocks (and second rocks if there are two experienced players on the team).
• Teams can be Ladies, Men’s or Mixed.
• All ages welcome.
• Sign up as a team, partial team or single and we’ll help form teams.
• Maximum 16 teams.

Cost is $50/player which includes three, 4-end games, cash prizes, and dinner. Payment due on the day of the Funspiel.

• Name of each player
• Years of experience for each player
• Email of at least one player on the team (if registering as a team)
