Curling is one of many sports included in the BC Winter Games to provide our U16 youth athletes with an opportunity to experience multi-sport competition.
Curl BC will support the development of athletes and coaches leading up to and during the event. All athletes, team coach(es), adult supervisors (if applicable), are required to stay in BC Winter Games accommodation for the entirety of the Trail-Rossland 2026 BC Winter Games
Age eligibility: Minimum age is 13 as of June 30, 2025 and 15 years of age or under as of June 30, 2025.

- Possible exemption is available for athletes that are aged 12 as of June 30, 2025 who have been identified and approved by the Curl BC Provincial Advisor. Contact Curl BC for any athlete exemption questions for those aged U13 prior to June 30, 2025.
Helmet Protocols: All individuals under the age of 12 must wear appropriate head protection for all Curl BC Events. For more information read the full policy here for a list of eligible head protection products.
Competitor Requirements
- Ensure each member of the team creates or updates their Curling IO profile. This information is used for BC Games submissions.
- After submitting the team registration, the individual registering the team will receive an email that must be shared with each team member. There will be a link provided for each competitor to assign their Curling IO profile to the event.

- Every competitor and coach is required to complete a Competitions Agreement ONCE per season. Follow this LINK to complete yours today.
Qualifier Information
All individuals who qualify to represent their zone at the BC Games in Trail-Rossland will be required to pay an additional individual fee of $225 (subject to change), which covers the following:
