Curl BC is proud to partner with Peninsula Co-op to bring the joy of curling to Greater Victoria
schools as part of the BC Curling Championships.
If your Greater Victoria middle school is interested in participating, please read the following details.
Choose Your Date:
Pick a date that works best for you – January 23 (Tue), 24 (Wed), or 25 (Thu), 2024.
Time:
9:30am arrival, with departure at 11:30am.
Activities:
- Bring two classes, approximately 48 students, to the Archie Browning Sports Centre on your chosen date.
- Ahead of the event, teachers will receive training materials and content to introduce the game of curling to students.
- Our experienced coaches will be on hand to introduce your students to the captivating sport of curling.
- After the Try Curling Session, your school will have reserved seating in the arena to catch some of the morning games of the BC Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair Curling Championships.
- Thanks to the generous support of Peninsula Co-op, transportation costs, if needed, will be covered
- Each student will receive tickets to return with their families to one of the evening games.
