Congratulations to Ashley Fenton, winner of the 2024/25 PCMCA Scholarship!

“I feel incredibly honoured, special, and excited to be the recipient of the scholarship! My heartfelt thank you to the Pacific Coast Masters Curling Association, the Curl BC Awards Committee, the Royal City Curling Club, the Port Moody Curling Club, my dedicated coaches, and my lovely family for their tremendous support! Going forward I will continue to do my best and work hard on-and-off the ice! Curling is not just a sport to me, it’s my community, my competitive outlet, my joy, and my passion. Next season, I plan to compete at either U18, U20, USports/CCAA, or all three while balancing my academic life. I will take sciences with the goal of healthcare in my future.” – Ashley Fenton

The PCMCA Scholarship, funded by the Pacific Coast Masters Curling Association, awards $1,000 annually to young curlers in Canada who show leadership and athletic skills that benefit the sport of curling. This scholarship, established in 2023, is open to PCMCA’s Zone 1 to 4 curlers, who are attending college, university, or trade schools in Canada.
