Grand Slam event comes to Kelowna

Kelowna’s Prospera Place will host a Grand Slam curling event in December.

The event – from December 12 to 16 - will be televised on Sportsnet.

The details of the event were announced at a news conference in the city yesterday afternoon (Monday, October 1).

A reporter from Kelowna’s Castanet.net news website was at the event and interviewed Prospera arena general manager Wayne Pansegrau and Kelowna Curling Club’s manager Jock Tyre.
