2012 Canadian Gay Curling Championship

Congratulations to the Vancouver Curling Club and their volunteers for hosting a successful 2012 Canadian Gay Curling Championship this past weekend. 16 teams from across the country participated in the event with Vancouver’s own Stephen Schneider rink winning the gold medal.

The event ran concurrently with the Pacific Rim Cup bonspiel with teams from as far away as San Fransico joining in on the action. Approximately 200 curlers took to the ice at the Hillcrest Community Centre.
