Gaming funding for adult sport reinstated

Thanks to several curlers along with 1,700 other British Columbians providing input into the Gaming Review process, the Premier has agreed to reinstate Gaming funding for adult sport. Even better, there will be a special intake period to allocate $6M this fiscal year to adult sport groups, among other community groups, held from now until Feb. 13th. Action curling centres should take now:

• Submit an application in the last 2 weeks of January for this special intake period.
• Prepare an application for the 2012/13 fiscal year in April (deadline May 31st)
• Send an email or write a letter of thanks to Premier Christy Clark, ac.cb.vognull@reimerp, and Minister Ida Chong, ac.cb.gelnull@alm.gnohc.adi
