Last of BC men’s teams to qualify this weekend

The last four spots into the 2012 Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men’s Curling Championship presented by Dundee Wealth & Save on Foods are up for grabs this weekend. 16 teams from across the province will compete at the Kelowna Curling Club beginning this Friday in an open event for their chance to qualify for the provincial championship in Parksville, February 8-12.

The following senior playdowns will also take place this weekend, with winners advancing to the 2012 Tim Hortons BC Senior Curling Championships Feb 14-19 in Kelowna.

• Region 3, 4 & 7 inter-regional senior men’s and women’s playdown at the Oliver Curling Club
• Region 5 & 6 inter-regional senior men’s playdown at the Terrace Curling Club
