BC junior girls make tie-breaker
January 23rd, 2010
BC’s Dailene Sivertson and teammates are still alive at the 2010 M&M Meatshops Canadian Junior Curling Championship in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. Sivertson finished with an 8-4 record in a three way tie for 3rd place. BC plays Alberta in the first of two tie-breakers with the winner advancing to play Saskatchewan in the second tie-breaker to declare the third and final playoff berth. The Ontario girls have earned a berth in the final with a 12-0 record while Northern Ont. waits in the semi final at 9-3.
The BC boys had a good showing finishing in a tie for sixth place with a 6-6 record.
Way to go BC juniors and best of luck to Sivertson and company tomorrow!
