Region 11 Men’s Bonspiel Tour Championship

Congratulations to the Clem DeGobbi team from Royal City CC, winners of the inaugural Region 11 Men’s Bonspiel Tour Championship held Mar. 27-29 at North Shore Winter Club. Clem’s five-man team includes Ashley Joyce, Patrick Johnstone, Brent Ward and Kurt Roberts.

The Degobbi team lost their first game, then ran off six straight wins to take the championship, defeating Darrell Zbeetnoff of Peace Arch CC 9-2 in six ends in the final. In the playoff semi-finals, Degobbi defeated Mike Hannafin of Richmond CC and Zbeetnoff beat Richard Brower from Tunnel Town CC.
