Field Set for Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men’s Curling Championship

Following the Interior Championship in Sparwood and the Coastal Championship in New Westminster, the field is set for the 2009 Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men’s Curling Championship in Maple Ridge at the Golden Ears Winter Club, February 9-15.

Qualifying from the Interior Championship are:

Team Peachey (Royal City, New Westminster)
Team Miki (Royal City, New Westminster)
Team Geall (Royal City, New Westminster)
Team Montgomery (Victoria)

Joining these teams are the Greg McAulay rink from Richmond and Bob Ursel rink from Kelowna have already earned their shot at the BC title through automatic berths. The McAulay rink was the top BC points earner in the Canadian Team Ranking System while the Ursel rink is the defending champion.
