Curl BC appoints Technical & Education Coordinator
Curl BC today announced that Heather Beatty has been named Technical & Education Coordinator. Beatty will be responsible for administration and other related duties for Curl BC competitions, courses and multi-sport games relations.

She has received some excellent training and work experience in sport management which is complemented by her background as a competitive curler and coach. We look forward to Heather coordinating BC’s competitive curling system and educational courses.” says Executive Director & CEO of Curl BC, Scott Braley.
Beatty, a recent graduate from Brock University in Sport Management, brings over 13 years of curling experience to the provincial organization. She is an Ontario University Women’s Provincial Curling Champion, Level 1 Certified Coach and holds her Canadian Curling Association Timing and Statistician Certification. Prior to joining Curl BC, Beatty worked for IMG Toronto. She also has experience working with sport groups in golf, swimming and tennis.
